We will focus on both the study relevant student job and the unskilled student job in which you do not apply your competencies from your studies.
The focus will be on:
- How can you find relevant companies?
- Which competencies would you like to put into play?
- How do you translate what you know into "business language"?
- CV and cover letter – what should it contain?
- Unsolicited student job search - how do you get started?
We can’t guarantee you a student job, but we can help you increase your chances by showing you how a good CV can be structured and written and how you can find relevant openings as well as inciting you to reflect on your skill set.
Practicalities
- We will give you some tools and pieces of advice, but we will not have any open positions with us
- Expect involvement – you will get assignments to try out the tools and to make the seminar as relevant as possible to you
- Bring your laptop
- If you have already found a job you want to apply for, bring it to the seminar – then you can apply what you learn immediately!
- In the break, there are sandwiches – also vegan and vegetarian
- Please bring your own bottle for the free water from the canteen water fountain
