About the Study Environment Day
The study environment day is for all students at AAU. The day is usually in the spring and the theme of the day changes from year to year. The theme is decided by The Student Environment Council and Shared Services AAU CPH, based on what they experience, is most important to the students, or what AAU particularly needs the students' input on.

Study Environment Day 2026 in Aalborg
Under the theme “Take a Timeout”, the day created a healthy pause in the middle of everyday study life, offering inspiration on how to take meaningful brain breaks – both individually and together with others. The day featured a wide range of workshops and drop-in activities where students could move, immerse themselves, be creative or simply relax. The programme included, among other things, game design, yoga and dancefit, creative activities, knowledge about sleep and healthy sleep habits, zero waste cooking, as well as cosy social activities with board games and moments for quiet reflection.
