When the Student Environment Council opens the doors to the annual Student Environment Day on Campus Aalborg, it will, among other things, become a day where you can help develop ideas and provide your input for sustainable solutions in relation to student life at AAU. You also have the opportunity to become more informed about what you can do yourself to live a more sustainable life.

STUDY ENVIRONMENT DAY 2023 – YOUR SUSTAINABLE STUDY LIFE! 
 
Did you know that AAU has a set of climate goals? Help us shine a light on sustainability at this year’s Study Environment Day on Campus Aalborg hosted AAU's Study Environment Council. It takes place March 29 at 14.30-20.30. 
 
AAU already has many initiatives in the works, but with your and your fellow students' ideas, we can come up with even more initiatives for a sustainable student life at AAU! Come and hear about what is already happening on campus and take part in one of four exciting workshops: 

  • Sustainable Development Goals game - solution camp. Help us develop ideas for sustainable solutions in relation to the physical study environment via an inspiring SDG game.
  • How big is your climate footprint? Get your climate footprint measured and get tips on how you can reduce your personal climate impact. You may even dispel a myth or two about sustainability!
  • (No more available spots) Zero waste cooking. Come along to an exciting cooking course, where AAU's canteen supplier 'Jespers Torvekøkken' gives you tips and tricks to reduce your food waste. 

Depending on which workshop you choose, you can either help develop ideas and provide your input for sustainable solutions related to your physical study environment at AAU, or you can become more informed about what you can do yourself to live a more sustainable life. 
 
When you register for the Study Environment Day, you must also select the workshop you wish to participate in. Please note that there is a limit on the number of participants in each workshop.

The event is topped off by a good dose of fun and hygge with a few rounds of boardgames with your fellow students. 
 
There is free coffee, cake, dinner and snacks! 
 
The event will be held at AAU INNOVATE, Thomas Manns Vej 25, 9220 Aalborg Øst.
