Folkeuniversitetet (the Danish University Extension) has 100 departments throughout the country and offers lectures on par with university standards, in a wide range of fields of study.

Free admission

Since AAU has a cooperation agreement with Folkeuniversitetet in Aalborg, all AAU students have free admission to a long list of the lectures and courses offered by the institution.
