Study abroad at SDC in China (Sino-Danish Center)
SDC(Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research) is a partnership between the 8 Danish universities and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in Beijing. SDC offers 7 full-degree master’s programmes. All teaching is carried out in the SDC Building on UCAS' Yanqihu Campus north of Beijing. Highly qualified professors/researchers from UCAS and the Danish universities teach together. The language of instruction is English.

UCAS is run by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the students have access to cutting-edge research facilities in China during their research training and dissertation work at the UCAS institutes. UCAS is recognised as one of the top universities in the world.
7 full degree master’s programmes
SDC offers 2 programmes within Social Science and 5 programmes within Natural Science. Each programme is offered as a double degree programme in cooperation between UCAS and one Danish University. The 7 master’s programmes can accept exchange students in the first and/or second semester.

As an AAU student, you can receive guidance on staying abroad during your studies.
