Other types of financial aid
A stay abroad can be expensive, and it is therefore a good idea to apply for private scholarships. We have compiled an overview as well as a number of good advice on where and how you can apply for private grants and foundations.
It is possible to apply for grants from one or more private funds in Denmark in order to help with coverage of expenses during the stay abroad. These are not limited to students enrolled in Aalborg University (AAU). However, the possibilities for non-Danish students to apply for these funds are limited. We, therefore, encourage you to explore the possibility for public and/or private grants in your home country. It may also be possible to apply for a grant from some of the trade unions, banks ect.
