UniRun 2025: AAU on the run

The place was buzzing with life when around 900 participants – both staff and students – participated in this year's UniRun organized by the Student Society. With colourful running shoes, big smiles and the characteristic UniRun shirts, the area was transformed into a community in motion. 

UniRun isn’t just an exercise run, it’s also a social event with a focus on fellowship that brings together the entire university across disciplines and functions. As Pro-rector Anne Marie Kanstrup put it in her welcome address: 

“The point is that the race is for everyone. It’s an opportunity to come together.” 

With both runners and supporters cheering them on, the day was a picture of what happens when student life and working life meet in motion. This is exactly what the pro-rector put into words in her speech: 

"UniRun gives us the opportunity to get to know each other in new ways."
