You are your own 'boss' when it comes to study preparations and you would do well to put your own leadership under the microscope. For instance, have you thought about how your motivation in relation to the work task is affected by how you manage yourself? Below are two initiatives that you can integrate as an active part of your leadership.

Breaks are important

Give yourself some planned breaks for a walk, a snack, or a little procrastination with a good conscience. Remember to reward yourself when you are finished with the day’s reading. You have earned it – and it unconsciously helps you to maintain your positive new habits.

Read with others

If you struggle staying focused when studying on your own, consider studying with some of your fellow students or try reading in a library.
