This event is relevant for you if you are looking for a student job, an internship (project-oriented course) or your first fulltime job in Denmark.

You will be prepared for the job search process:

  • What can I do and what would I like to do?
  • Where can I find jobs?
  • How do I make a targeted CV and cover letter for the Danish job market?
We will give you concrete tools to make a cover letter and CV as well as some tips on how you can translate what you can into "business language".

Maybe you've already considered it: There is an even bigger world of possibilities if you don't lock yourself into the jobs and internships that have already been posted. You just have to identify the possibilities and act on them. We give you the tools and inspiration to your unsolicited job or internship search.

After the event, you have the chance to get CV feedback from one of the career counsellors.

We can’t guarantee you an internship or job, but by attending this workshop we can help you increase your chances.

Teacher: Christian Friis-Nielsen

Christian has been working at AAU Career for 5 years and is a PBL-nerd. Other than that, he is the world’s okayest guitarist :-)

Christian is one of the career counsellors you will meet when you get career counselling at AAU.

1. Knowledge on the Danish labour market
2. Ideas on how to start your internship or job search
3. Tools to take the first steps

Practicalities

  • We will give you some tools and pieces of advice, but we will not have any open positions with us
  • Bring your laptop and expect involvement – you will get assignments to try out the tools and to make the event as relevant as possible to you
  • If you have already found a job you want to apply for, bring it to the seminar – then you can apply what you learn immediately!
  • In the break, there are sandwiches – also vegan and vegetarian
  • Please bring your own bottle for the free water from the canteen water fountain
  • If you would like to get CV feedback, bring your CV – in paper or on your laptop
