PROGRAM INTERNATIONAL WELCOME DAY
09.00-09.20 Official Welcome to the city of Aalborg and to Aalborg University by Mayor of Aalborg Lasse Frimand Jensen and Dean at AAU Rasmus Antoft.
09.20-10.25 Fair for Internationals – mingle and learn what Aalborg has to offer on sports, social gatherings and events, cultural and volunteer organizations and much more.
10.30-11.30 Presentations that will help you to crack the code to study at AAU and provide you with information on AAU student services.
- Meeting room 1: Crack the code to studying at AAU and working in Denmark by/AAU Career and Student Guidance. Learn about our free counselling and activities for students within the well-being, career, job search, and study techniques. And about important tips and tricks to manage working in groups, during your studies at AAU.
- Meeting room 2: Meet the University Chaplains, Language Center Aalborg & the AAU Student Entrepreneurship. Learn how the University Chaplains can help you, regardless of religion. Get a taste of how to learn Danish from the Language Center and get to know your opportunities to try your hand at entrepreneurship.
11.30-12.00 Lunch (sandwich and water)
12.05-13.05 Presentations, go to the room you came from, as the presenters will switch rooms.

13.15-14.15 Culture crash course by a former international AAU student.
- Angelika graduated from Aalborg University a couple of years ago. She gives her best advice on how to establish a new daily life in Aalborg, which cafes to visit, where to go for social activities etc.
