As an international student at certain AAU programmes, you have the chance to get a mentor. It is a great way of navigating in the somewhat confusing cultural, social, and professional reality that applying your competencies in a new country brings.

As a mentee, you will be assigned to a mentor that can help you find answers to your questions about your future career and the ‘Danish way’ of doing things.

If you feel that you could need a helping hand – and that you are ready to commit to a mentor-mentee relationship – getting a mentor is a great way to:

  • Build your network
  • Get advice on finding a student job or job after graduation
  • Learn about the Danish workplace culture
This programme really helps contribute to students' networks and confidence.
