Tech with strategy and clear customer value.

What problem are you aiming to solve with your idea/startup?
Plastic and packaging manufacturers often discover defects in their products too late—either late in the production process or at the customer’s site. Manual quality control is unreliable, and existing technical solutions are too expensive and complex for most manufacturers.

DeepVis is building an AI-powered camera system that automatically checks product quality directly on the production line in real time. This enables manufacturers to reduce waste, save time, and deliver higher quality—without requiring specialist expertise to operate the system.

How has the AAU Startup Grant contributed to your development?
The grant has made a big difference. It has enabled us to purchase the hardware needed to properly develop and test our system, and it has allowed us to recruit our first student employee. This has given us a real boost in both technical progress and overall capacity.

What are your next steps?
We are in the process of raising capital to convert our pilot installations into paying customers. At the same time, we are working on establishing partnerships with automation companies that can help us scale sales across Europe.
