This event is part of AAU CPH Career Week

The event is relevant for you if you are looking for a student job, internship or your first job and wish to learn how to write a cover letter, either for an advertised position or for unsolicited job search. 

Grab a free sandwich and spend your lunch break with us and learn how to master 5 simple tools to make a great cover letter. 

Teacher: Kristi Johvik

Kristi is career consultant at AAU Career and has several years of experience with helping students and job seekers with writing tailored CVs and cover letters.

Kristi is one of the career counsellors you will meet when you get career guidance at AAU CPH.

3 things you’ll get out of the event:

1. Tools to structure the cover letter that employers will read
2. Tools to tailor your cover letter to a specific job or an open position
3. Inspiration to how to write about the match between the companies’ needs and your skills and experiences

Practicalities

  • If you have one, bring a draft of your cover letter (one that is work in progress or one that you have sent to a company before) so you can apply what you learn immediately.
  • If you wish to get individual feedback on your cover letter – please visit Drop-in career guidance on Mondays between 11.00 – 13.30 in Study and Career Counselling in building B, ground floor.
  • Lunch sandwiches are on us (requires that you have signed up no later than 16 April)
  • All career events at AAU CPH are in English and for both Danish and international students.
