Do you wish to exercise your democratic right and have a say about university matters? Then you should stand for the AAU Elections. You will for instance have a say about the university’s strategic development, education matters and priorities. Your opinion is important and as a student you are the one who knows what is important for your study and study environment.

The electoral period for students is one year from 1 February 2024 to 31 January 2025.

You can declare your candidacy from 9 October to 27 October 2023 and from 27 November to 30 November, it is time to place your vote.

Diversity is one of AAU’s core values, which we want to reflect in the governing bodies at the university. Therefore, we encourage everyone regardless of personal background and orientation to stand for the AAU Elections.
