Are you considering doing an internship (project-oriented course) with a company, NGO or any other kind of external organisation, then this workshop is for you.

To find an internship very much resembles the process of unsolicited job search, as there are not that many advertised internship positions – yet many companies are keen on collaboration with students. However, you must be the one reaching out to potential collaboration partners to make it happen.

We will guide you in exercises to:

  • Clarify your objectives for your internship project
  • Identify your barriers to finding an internship – and how to overcome them
  • Prioritise the most relevant tasks to do

You will not leave the workshop with an internship agreement in hand, but with a concrete plan to get it.

Teacher: Louise Kjærgaard

Louise has worked within student career services for +10 years. She is a facilitation nerd and loves colorful post-its.

Louise is one of the career counsellors you will meet when you get career guidance at AAU CPH.

Practicalities

  • Expect involvement and bring your laptop – you will do exercises to try out the tools and to make the workshop as relevant as possible to you.
  • Sandwiches are on us (requires that you have signed up no later than 28 February) – bring your own water bottle.
  • All career events at AAU CPH are in English and for both Danish and international students.
