Special Educational Support

SPS (Special Educational Support) is a service for students with a functional impairment. The purpose of the support is to give you the opportunity to undertake your studies on equal terms with other students. The support can be physical or digital aids and/or personal support.

Apply for SPS

Special Educational Support (SPS) is a service for students with dyslexia, a physical, psychological or neurological condition giving them the opportunity to undertake their studies on equal terms with other students.

SPS can be anything from physical aids to personal support, however, not financial support or academic support for a subject you are struggling with. 

We treat all personal information as private and confidential and it will not appear from your diploma that you have received SPS.

You can apply for Special Educational Support (SPS) by sending the application form to sps@aau.dk together with documentation for your disability.

If you are dyslexic or have a disability, you can apply for special conditions for the exam (e.g. extended exam time or use of study aids). 

Deadlines may vary from study programme to study programme. Please contact your Study Board for information, and submit your application for special conditions to the Study Board as soon as possible.
