IT for students

AAU email for students

Your AAU email is your student email during your time at the university.

When you’re admitted to AAU, you’ll be given your personal AAU email account. Here you’ll get to decide your password.

If you want to change it later or if you forgot it, you can change your password by using your NemID on https://www.nyadgangskode.aau.dk/new-password/.

You’ll need your AAU email and password as a login to different IT systems at AAU, including Student Self-service System (STADS) and Moodle.

Student Self-service System (STADS)

STADS is AAU’s study administration system. In STADS self-service you can:

  • register and deregister from teaching and examinations
  • see your examination results
  • print your academic transcript and enrolment confirmation
  • see your exam statistics

Moodle

Moodle is the students’ intranet. Here you’ll find information on lectures, literature, submission deadlines, etc. Currently, Moodle has a limited platform for each study programme so that you’ll only receive information from your respective programme. However, via your login for AAU’s access control, you can get access to other programme platforms.

Print and copy

Aalborg University provides a shared print and copy service for all AAU students.
Each student has  a personal print account, and you can top up your account once you’ve used your free prints. You can use AAU copy machines with your AAUcard and a PIN. On the website for Print and Copy, you can also find information on how to install Aalborg University’s printers on your own computer.
