PROGRAM INTERNATIONAL WELCOME DAY AND GUIDED TOUR

 

10-10.15 Official Welcome Vice Dean of Education, Malene Gram, welcomes you to Aalborg University.

10.15-10.40 Presentation to Aalborg and AAU by the coordinators of the AAU Buddy Program and I-Life (social student association)

  • Learn what Aalborg offers in sports, social gatherings and events, cultural and volunteer organizations, and much more.

10.45-11:00 Wellbeing by/University Chaplains  

  • The University chaplains provide free counseling for all AAU students, regardless of religion.

11.00-11:45 Crack the code to studying at AAU and working in Denmark by/AAU Student Guidance and AAU Career (break included).

  • AAU provides free counselling and activities for students within the well-being, career, job search, and study techniques.

11.45-12:30 Learn to navigate Group Work Part 1 by/AAU Student Guidance (break included).

  • Learn important tips and tricks to manage working in groups, which will be an essential competence during your studies.

12.30-13.10 Sandwich and water

13.15-13.45 Culture crash course by former AAU student.

  • Irina graduated from Aalborg University a couple of years ago. She gives her best advice on how to establish a new daily life in Aalborg, which cafes to visit, where to go for social activities etc.

13.45-13.55 AAU Innovation (start-ups)

13.55-14.05 Sum up & Danish language possibilities

14.05-15.00 Guided tour on Campus East (remember warm clothes!)

  • Learn where to find the most important locations on Main Campus and participate in funny social activities during the tour

15.00-15.30 Hot cocoa, games and socialising with your new peers.
