All about applying an Erasmus+ grant
The Erasmus Programme is an EU scholarship programme for EU students within all academic fields, who wish to carry out parts of their education at another European institution of higher education or carry out an internship in another EU/EEA country.
The scholarship is of minimum the same amount as what you would have been able to receive through the AAU Internationalisation Pool had you not been affiliated with an Erasmus program.
You can apply for an Erasmus+ grant
- If you are going to study abroad or do a project-oriented course/internship in one of the countries participating in the Erasmus+ programme (but not Denmark, Greenland or the Faroe Islands).
- for study stays: It takes place with one of the partner universities with whom Aalborg University has signed an Erasmus+ exchange agreement.
You apply for the Erasmus+ grant as a contribution to your expenses during your stay abroad.
How often and for how long can I apply for a grant?
It is possible to go abroad with the Erasmus+ programme several times and to apply for a grant for every stay. You may be granted a maximum of 12 months during your Bachelor's degree and a maximum of 12 months during your Master's degree.
